OSS develops and manufactures suppression technologies that are based on real world, war time, and commercial demands. We are located in Murray, Utah adjacent to Salt Lake City. We operate out of an 18,000 square foot state of the art facility dedicated to production and R&D of our suppression systems.
The staff comes from many facets of special operations and law enforcement. Combined, OSS have over a century of Special Operations and combat experience, the majority of which came post 9/11. They take this knowledge combined with our brothers still deploying and apply it to every product we produce, creating new standards for weapon suppression devices.
As an operator or shooter are you impressed with how quiet your suppressor is when your eyes are watering and you are choking on gases forced out of the chamber and into your face? When your weapon fails due to excessive fouling, high cyclic rates of fire, and extreme pressures? When your flash signature pinpoints your exact location regardless of sound? How about when your “quick-detach” won’t detach or falls off while shooting? Or when your point of impact is erratic and unpredictable? We have been there in special units with, “top notch equipment”, as many of you have, and all of the above has happened while in the worst conditions possible.
With over a decade of suppressor design and manufacturing experience prior to joining Special Operations, the founder and president of OSS refused to accept these industry norms after living the reality and failures of traditional suppressors, and set out on a conquest to change this in 2007. At OSS, they can guarantee your suppressor will be ear safe, your weapon will function as designed, and your flash, sound, and heat signature will be reduced while maintaining accuracy and keeping gases out of your eyes, nose, and mouth.
OSS can say with the utmost confidence; OSS is the future of weapon suppression devices. Their modular suppression devices are revolutionary and employ more than 12 patented technologies. This system was developed, is owned and manufactured by former Special Operations soldiers who have been there. Our brothers will never fail us; we want our weapons to be the same. OSS manufacture this system as a Mission, a Mission to provide state of the art devices that:
Enhance mission survivability and increase capabilities for professional warriors.
Provide a sustainable, user maintained, and cost effective suppression system.
Offer the same capability to every shooter that is tired of the same things we are.
