PTD strengthens its Nordic position through FMV framework agreement
Precision Technic Defence has been awarded supplier status under a new framework agreement established by the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for carrying systems used by the Swedish Armed Forces.
The framework agreement, which runs for seven years, covers a wide range of military carrying systems, including combat packs, backpacks, medical backpacks, gas mask bags, and related equipment currently in service with the Swedish Armed Forces. FMV has awarded the agreement to seven Nordic suppliers in order to ensure long-term supply security and operational robustness.
As part of the agreement, FMV, the Swedish Armed Forces, and the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency are entitled to place call-off orders under predefined conditions. The framework also allows for product adaptation and further development in response to operational needs.
“Being selected as one of the framework suppliers reinforces PTD’s position as a trusted Nordic partner to defence and security customers, and supports our continued focus on delivering proven equipment to modern armed forces.” – Jan Petersson, Country Manager Sweden, Precision Technic Defence
The agreement was awarded following a competitive procurement process initiated in November 2025, with contracts signed in March 2026.
